We are reaching out today regarding an issue with some BSM170B when connecting to an InBody device via bluetooth. With the affected devices, when the BSM170b is connected to the InBody device, it immediately shuts of.
The cause of this issue is the power-off timer setting value is being stored in an incorrect memory address due to a software bug(BSM170-A023-025). The BSM170B is designed to reset the power-off timer setting value when it is connected to InBody, however, the issue arises because '0 seconds' data was stored at the memory address causing the BSM170B to power off immediately upon connection. The solution is to reconfigure the power-off timer setting value, which will resolve the issue.
