How to use Upgrade Jig

1) Connect the Upgrade JIG using USB A-Mini 5p cable to the PC

2) The driver will be automatically installed for initial connection. Check for successful installation at Control Panel  Administrative tools and seek for “STM MAND flash disk USB device”

3) If the driver is installed, the PC will properly recognize the jig. 2 flash drivers will be created in the PC and the last driver is the disk for the jig. Click on the disk and you’ll see a folder named “InBody120”.

4) Open the InBody120 folder from the upgrade jig.

5) There are 2 upgrade programs, 120MA-xxxx.analog, 120SA-xxxx.inbody (xxxx is a version code), and copy these two files into the upgrade jig InBody120 folder.

6) Disconnect the upgrade jig from the PC and plug it to the RS-232 cable port of InBody120. (InBody120 should be turned off)

7) Turn on InBody120 (when upgrading, you must use power adapter).

8) Upgrade automatically starts as the power is on. If both firmware are in the jig, then the Analog board program first proceeds, and then the Digital board program.

9) When analog board upgrade starts, on the left side of the LCD, ‘S’ appears and with the beep sound, the number counts up to 100. This takes about 10 minutes.

10) When analog board upgrade is completed, the digital board upgrade starts. On the left side of the LCD ‘Pro’ appears and with the beep sound, the number counts up to 100.

11) Do not disconnect the power adapter or the upgrade jig while upgrading. When upgrade is completed, the power automatically turns off.

12) After all the upgrade process, unplug the jig and turn on the device. Check the version in the QC report.

Always check the QC Report after the upgrade to make sure everything is correct. If you are updating the Analog version, recalibrate the device.
