Nayax integration - Payment via Credit Card

We are today announcing the integration with Nayax POS. 

What is Nayax?

Nayax is a company providing Point of Sale devices - payment devices. They have offices in 9 locations around the world, and operates in over 70 countries around the world. Their solutions allow to easily pay by card on the go

What does it have to do with InBody?

With this integration, you are able to link a POS (Nayax VPOS Touch) with an InBody device. This way, the device is locked until a payment has been made. Once payment is received, the device is automatically unlocked and the customer can take a test. 

How much is an InBody test?

The price of an InBody test is decided by the customer themselves. We only falicitates the link between Nayax and the device. The price, setup and everything else is directly handled by the customer who can chose how much he charges, where to get the money, etc. InBody is not involved past providing the tools to make the connexion between the InBody device and the payment system

As of today, the following devices can be used :

How Much does it cost?

The price for the Nayax device, cables, and the Stand is 690 euros. This can be purchased from your account manager directly. 

Our RRP (Recommend Retail Price) is also 690 euros. We recommend such a price because this is aimed at helping selling more devices, and not as making profit in itself.

Also keep in mind that while it is a one-off cost for InBody, Nayax also charges a Network service fee on a monthly basis. It is approximately 15 euros per month but may differ per location. This is paid directly to Nayax. 

Technical Requirements

I bought it, what now? 

Please contact your local Nayax to transfer your unit from the Netherlands Nayax to the local Nayax, and set it up in their backend. During the process, make good note of your MDB code.

FirmwareAll devices must have a recent firmware. Please make sure the devices have the following firmware, at minimum : 

*it may work on an earlier firmware but some improvement have been made on the latest, so we recommend using the versions above

Setting up the device

The device must be set to vend-mode. The vend-mode can be entered in the way described below. 

Note : The MDB code must be chosen from the Nayax interface

InBody 270

To enter the Vend mode:

1. Connect the Nayax device to the serial port of the machine
2. Start the InBody device and Open the Administrator menu
3. Open the menu Serial port (26) on page 4
4. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom right corner
5. Enter the MDB* code and save

To leave the Vend mode

1. Open the Administrator menu
2. Open the menu Serial port (26) on page 4
3. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom right corner
4. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom left corner

InBody 370S

To enter the Vend mode:

1. Connect the Nayax device to the PC serial port of the machine2. Turn on the InBody machine3. Open the Administrator menu4. Open the menu Auto-lock (25) on page 45. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom right corner6. Enter the MDB code and save7. Wait 1 minutes for the Vend mode to be effective

To leave the Vend mode

1. Open the Administrator menu2. Open the menu Auto-lock (25) on page 43. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom right corner4. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom left corner

InBody 570

To enter the Vend mode:

1. Connect the Nayax device to the PC serial port of the machine
2. Turn on the InBody machine
3. Open the Administrator menu
4. Open the menu Auto-lock (25) on page 4
5. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom right corner
6. Enter the MDB code and save
7. Wait 1 minutes for the Vend mode to be effective

To leave the Vend mode

1. Open the Administrator menu
2. Open the menu Auto-lock (25) on page 4
3. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom right corner
4. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom left corner

InBody 770

To enter the Vend mode:

1. Connect the Nayax device to the PC serial port of the machine
2. Turn on the InBody machine
3. Open the Administrator menu
4. Open the menu Auto-lock (25) on page 4
5. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom right corner
6. Enter the MDB code and save
7. Wait 1 minutes for the Vend mode to be effective

To leave the Vend mode

1. Open the Administrator menu
2. Open the menu Auto-lock (25) on page 4
3. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom right corner
4. Tap the screen multiple times on the bottom left corner

FAQ

-The InBody machine displays : Please contact the administrator – InBody Test result print failed.Solution : Restart the InBody machine

-I cannot access the Hidden menuSolution : The hidden menu cannot be accessed in Vend mode. Please leave the Vend mode to access it.

-The InBody machine displays :Press [Start Test] to start your InBody Test.But there is no button on the screenSolution : Restart the InBody machine

-When trying to enter the Vend mode, an error message appear: Pairing FailedCheck the AMI 3.0’s connect status.Press [Confirm] to pair againSolution: Check that the Nayax device is turned on and properly plugged in the PC Serial of the InBody machine . Then restart the InBody machine
